salon Attraction Ideas
Target your Salon and Spa Marketing
I’m sure we don’t need to tell you that the Beauty Salon and Spa business is a highly competitive field. In our little town alone we have several dozen Beauty Salons and numerous Spas to choose from. So how do you stand out and get more customers walking through your doors? Target your audience with the following attraction ideas:
Be Unique
With so many salons and spas offering basically the same services how can your business be unique? You can make your business unique by being the only one that offers a specific service. Consider becoming ‘An Expert’ and getting certified in one specific area of service. You can then offer the highest price for this premium service that no one else does as well as you do. Instead of marketing like the rest of the salons that try to get customers by always offering the cheapest price.
Be Pro-Active
Do you know who hears your advertising message? Consider the demographics of your customers. Are the majority of your clients male or female? Are they under 30 or older? The answers to these questions must be considered when deciding where to market your Salon or Spa. If you’re looking for clientele that is young and hip, find online marketing tools to help you spread the word. Be sure to include social media into your marketing regime. If your clientele is more mature, include more off-line advertising, like print and radio ads. Don’t spend your hard earned money marketing your business without knowing who it is exactly you are trying to market to.
Be Nice
Remember to always be friendly and reward your current clients, they are your potential future customers. If your clients value your service, products and most of all the way they were treated, they will spread the word and bring in referrals.
There are many more important marketing ideas for salons and spas, but the most important aspect to remember is to know your clientele and build a marketing campaign accordingly.
